Games similar to csgo surfing? I really like the idea of just chilling, listening to a podcast or music and surfing, but my internet is terrible (rural) and I cannot play anything online. I'm looking for something similar in the way you just sit back and mindlessly surf, platform, etc. Preferably first-person. A great Counter Strike game online. Vivid scenes, shocking sound effects with 3D perspectives. All of these combined together, bringing you great sensational excitement. Both Single mode and multiplayer mode are available. Whether to play by yourself or challenge with your friends, this is an amazing counter strike game!
Surf maps has become very popular in both CS:GO and Source. If you want to do a little surfing on your own, you will first need to set a few settings, otherwise you will not be able to surf properly. These settings will work both for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and CS Source as well as CS 1.6.
When you have downloaded a surf map, start the game and open the developer console (~). Once in the console, type in the following commands, which will change the settings.
CS:GO & CS:Source Surf settings
sv_accelerate 10
sv_airaccelerate 800
Default values
sv_accelerate 5.6
sv_airaccelerate 12
What really makes the difference, is the sv_airaccelerate. It is pretty straightforward what it does: it makes you accelerate faster or slower when in the air. Some servers has the sv_accelerate and sv_airaccelerate set to either highe or lower values. For example they could have sv_airaccelerate set to 1000 instead of 800.

You can also change the sv_airaccelerate based on what difficulty you would like.
Surf difficulties
- Hard: sv_airaccelerate 100
- Semi hard: sv_airaccelerate 150
- Medium: sv_airaccelerate 200
- Easy: sv_airaccelerate 400
- Fun: sv_airaccelerate 800
- Extra easy: sv_airaccelerate 1000
I would not recommend settings the sv_accelerate above 10, it will make your strafing to exaggerated.
If the server adds bot, and you want to remove them, use the command 'bot_kick' in the console.
CS 1.6 and Condition Zero Surf Settings
I'm not 100% sure about this, but I recall you have to set the following settings (cvars):
sv_airaccelerate 300
sv_airmove 10
